Kevin Grothe, Vice President of Sponsorships 
Memphis in May International Festival 

Mr. Grothe has 30 years of sales, marketing and fund raising experience in the event industry. Known for developing long-term business relationships, he has successfully increased department revenues for several organizations and institutions of higher learning.  Mr. Grothe has been with Memphis in May International Festival for 11 years as the Sponsorship Director. He has worked with several national accounts including Caesar's Entertainment, Target and the Ford Motor Company. Through successfully negotiating and implementing a myriad of sponsorship strategies, revenue has increased from $1.1 million to nearly 1.4 million.  Previously, Mr. Grothe was the Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs for the University of Memphis. While with the University, Mr. Grothe oversaw an $8 million capital campaign. He has also held positions with the Mid-American Conference, Miami University, the University of Iowa and Influence America.
