Jill Davis, Senior Vice President, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union

Jill Davis is currently the Senior Vice President of Marketing for MIDFLORIDA Credit Union and is responsible for all aspects of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations for the company.  During her 15-year tenure, the company has nearly tripled in size – growing to become a $1.9 billion dollar financial institution with nearly 40 branches and 190,000 customers.  Her daily project list can include anything from launching new products to recreating the company’s web site and anything in between; however, she was also involved in securing several key sponsorships:  MIDFLORIDA Mayfaire by-the-Lake, a community-wide art festival organized by the Polk Museum of Art, and the recent Name-In-Title Sponsorship of the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
Prior to joining MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, Jill worked in a corporate marketing department for a major food company, which afforded her exposure to high-end magazine advertising, package design, distribution networks and large scale food shows.  She served as the Marketing Manager for an international construction materials company, which reminded her that the world really does work 24 hours a day, as the company hosted offices in multiple countries.  She also worked for a few mid-sized advertising agencies and earned her stripes with her first job as a newspaper advertising executive.  Each position offered a unique perspective and a range of experience that continues to serve her today.
Jill graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Advertising.
Jill lives in Lakeland, Florida, with her husband and together they are raising two teenage girls. Her pastimes include spending time with family – as most of her extended family lives in the area - and spending time with friends.  She has an innate ability as a party planner and as a result, often shares her talents by hosting family-related events and parties for friends.
