Job:  Director of Operations



Seeking a Director of Operations, based in the Miami area, to be responsible for managing the operations of a large event business as well as the operations and logistics execution of event planning, implementation, management and close.  The Director of Operations will be required to develop and effectively implement processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies within the budget and ensure the successful and profitable execution of all events. The successful candidate requires proven leadership in event management coupled with operations, budgeting, logistics, construction (including design, build and close), customer relations, staff (internal and external) management and project management expertise.



  • Proven expertise in event construction and production project management
  • Proven leadership skills to lead and motivate both internal and external staff
  • Proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts to achieve desired levels of service and cost efficiencies
  • Strong knowledge of Office, Google Docs and AutoCAD required
  • Ability to travel to site locations for extended periods of time
