FFEA Staff

Suzanne Neve, CEO  |

Upon graduation from the Pennsylvania State University, Suzanne began her professional career in the hospitality industry where she honed her organizational and marketing skills. Managing a high performing Marriott property, she garnered several awards including Manager of the Year, General Manager of the Year and Hotel of the Year.

Prior to accepting the position as Executive Director for FFEA, Suzanne spent five years directing events for the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. In her position there, she oversaw the production and execution of over 60 events per year, including the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival. ArtiGras is one of the largest art festivals in the state of Florida and has been recognized as one of the top 50 art festivals in the U.S. and one of the top 20 events in the Southeastern U.S. During her time at the Chamber, their events earned several awards for advertising and organizational excellence.

As the CEO for FFEA Suzanne is responsible for all operational aspects of the organization, including membership growth, multimedia marketing, and event management. FFEA's 600 members represent the industry's top leaders and the Association serves as a resource to help them perform at their peak through education, networking and the cultivation of the highest standards. In her role with FFEA, Suzanne and her team visit events throughout the state of Florida and United States and they strive to connect, educate and advocate on behalf of FFEA's diverse membership.

She and her husband Jeff have recently relocated to the Orlando area with their two children Matthew and Elizabeth and are enjoying being closer to their family (and Mickey Mouse of course!).

Jamie Bonner, Convention Tradeshow Coordinator  |

Jamie was born in Savannah, Georgia but moved to Central Florida when she was two years old. Jamie started her career in hospitality when she was 18 at a restaurant and eventually became the Assistant General Manager.

In January 2016, she left the restaurant business to further her education and pursue her passion in event management. She now attends UCFs Rosen College of Hospitality and is pursuing a degree in Event Management. She also manages an event venue with her father in their southern style plantation home.

In her role with FFEA, Jamie coordinates several aspects of the annual Conference, including logistics and operations of Tradeshow with more than 60 exhibitors, the Sunsational Awards Program and sponsor activation.


Sabrina Meikle, Convention Program Coordinator  |

Sabrina was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL and is now currently residing in Fort Myers for college. She is in her senior year at Florida Gulf Coast University; with hopes she will graduate in December of this year. She is majoring in Resort and Hospitality Management with an Event concentration and minoring in Entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, she hopes to be hired for a company or a hotel as the Event/Banquet Manager or Coordinator and as a 5-7 year plan, she hopes to be able to start and successfully run her own event planning business.

In her role with FFEA, Sabrina coordinates with several different committees within the annual conference including the Silent Auction, Entertainment and Susnational Awards. She will also be responsible for speaker booking, management and oversight during the event.




 Cameron Romaine, Marketing Coordinator  |

Cameron was born in West Palm Beach, FL and is now currently attending college at the University of Central Florida. He is currently in his final senior semester and plans on graduating in May of 2018. He will be receiving his bachelors degree in the study of Human Communications. Upon graduating, Cameron hopes to pursue a job with all aspects of public relations, including communications and event planning. Cameron hopes to be able to run and plan his own public relations campaign one day in order to create and keep positive impacts in the community.

In his role with FFEA, Cameron is responsible for working directly with the FFEA Staff and Marketing Committee on promoting FFEA membership, events, activities and benefits through social media, public relations, promotional campaigns and other means.
